Description

The Swiss Museum of Transport is located in Lucerne. It's a very popular museum that attracts people of all ages from around the world. For many visitors, the state-of-the-art planetarium at the museum is a special highlight.

It's Switzerland's best-known and most modern large planetarium, opened over 50 years ago. When you visit the planetarium, you’ll quickly see why it's so popular.

Examples of Shows:

  • The "Coral Reef Expedition" takes you on a journey to the "Rainforests of the Sea." On the planetarium dome, countless marine creatures like turtles, colorful fish, sharks, corals, and many more swim around.
  • The "Worlds Beyond Earth" show transports you to the farthest corners of our solar system. You’ll learn fascinating facts about Saturn and the collision of tiny moons, visit the planet Venus, and marvel at the vastness of the universe.
  • "Mission Earth" presents our own planet from a completely new perspective. The live show in the planetarium is especially exciting, during which the staff shows and explains places you choose – anywhere in the universe!
  • The film "Aurora" introduces you to the "Mystical Lights of the North," which look incredibly real on the large planetarium dome.

Practical Information:

  • Languages offered: German with subtitles in English, French, Italian
  • Recommended minimum age for shows: 6 years
  • Please check the planetarium's changing program before your visit. Your ticket is valid for one show.

An additional charge of 7.20 CHF for tickets that I first have to exchange at the ticket counter, which I only find out about when entering the show. A clever trick making me think I'm on the Verkehrshaus site.

Your text says people can watch shows and events. This is about a show that can be chosen. You should change that on your voucher. Thanks Regards
