With this hiking ticket, you can travel flexibly. Take the state-of-the-art gondola lift between Grindelwald Terminal and Holenstein either way. This way, you decide which route to hike in this beautiful region with views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
At the Holenstein midpoint station, you'll find a barbecue area, a treetop walkway, and restroom facilities. From Holenstein, you can also start the Öpfelchüechliweg trail.
Cable Car Route
- Valley station: Grindelwald Terminal (942 m a.s.l.)
- Mid station: Holenstein (1620 m a.s.l.)

With stroller or wheelchair
- Riding the Grindelwald-Männlichen cable car is hassle-free. Strollers and wheelchairs don’t need to be folded.
- Inside the cabins, both benches can be folded up, allowing even larger wheelchairs to enjoy a comfortable ride to Männlichen.
- The Öpfelchüechli trail, the treetop path, and the barbecue area are not wheelchair accessible.
