Everything was great, just was little confused about exact meeting point directions

We took this lovely boat trip almost immediately after arriving in Geneva by plane. First, we spent an hour on the terrace by the harbor, then two hours relaxing in the lounge with a drink, enjoying the view from the boat—completely unwinding and getting into the holiday mood. However, it's unclear where exactly to board. Quai 1 was indicated, but Google directed us to the office by the harbor, which is not the boarding point. Eventually, we found out that the correct boarding place is Quai 5, near the giant Ferris wheel. Boarding and disembarking can be done anywhere, and tickets are checked on board, not directly when boarding, so you can hop on quickly. Could we have boarded at Quai 8 as well? That would have been nice, but we only thought of it afterward. We did disembark at Quai 8, right next to the hotel—a perfect start to a long weekend by Lake Geneva.
