Auf den Kretenwegen rund um die Wasserfallen dominiert die Aussicht in alle Himmelsrichtungen: Im Nordwesten grüssen Schwarzwald und Vogesen, im Süden die Alpen – an klaren Tagen reicht der Blick vom Allgäu bis zum Mont Blanc. Ein weiterer Höhepunkt: der höchste Punkt im Baselbiet – die «hinteri Egg».
