Die Wanderung kommt an zwei der schönsten Aussichtpunkte in der Region vorbei: Motto della Croce und der Monte Bar im Val Colla. Lugano und die Umgebung liegen einem zu Füssen, bei klarer Sicht blickt man bis nach Mailand. Schon dafür lohnt sich der steile Aufstieg über Weiden, Alpen und durch Wälder.
