Food Tour Basel self-guided

Experience the city of Basel in a culinary journey and discover unique, innovative eateries that otherwise only the locals know

You can expect a self-guided tour of at least three hours through four unique Basel eateries!

Meeting point: Bakery KULT.

From 09:00 you can start your tour at Bäckerei Kult in St. Johann. Afterwards you continue on foot and without a guide. Let yourself be spoiled with local delicacies on the way and discover the city of Basel without any time pressure.

You will discover: four unique restaurants with slightly different concepts.

End point: Jakob's Leckerly.

Your last stop is at Jakob's Leckerly at Spalenberg 26, where, as you might have guessed, everything revolves around the legendary "Basler Leckerli" pastry. So look forward to a sweet conclusion

Practical information:

• Tour offered from Tuesday to Saturday
• It is recommended to start the tour at 11:00 am as KLARA food court is closed from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
• Walking distance: 2.7 km
• For groups of 5 to 6 people, a reservation is compulsory at the KULT Bakery by e-mail to [email protected] or by phone at +41 61 692 11 80.
• Participation does not guarantee a seat in the respective locations
• The tour cannot be cancelled, but can be made on another day if available.

Relax after the food tour at the "Sauna am Rhy". This Finnish sauna offers direct access to the Rhine and has a rest yurt, a lounge yurt and a large outdoor area. The air temperature of the sauna is 90 degrees Celsius.
