The steam locomotive "Heidi" was brought up to the latest state of the art in 2015 and it takes you safely through the wintry Engadine with low-sulfur eco fuel oil without sparking and with an electric preheating system.

The journey takes you to St. Moritz, among other places; the jewel in the Swiss mountains and the birthplace of alpine winter vacations. Here, charm meets style - a resort that really leaves nothing to be desired

You'll also take a steam train to Pontresina, a mountain village straight out of a storybook. At 1800 meters above sea level, stylish hotel buildings from the Belle Epoque and traditional Engadine houses with murals characterize the village. The pine forests beguile visitors with their fragrance, and impressive glaciers frame the resort.

The adventure trip also takes you to S-chanf in the Val Trupchun, one of the wildest valleys in Europe. The intact historic village center has always radiated an original, irresistible charm. Here, people still remember their Romansh roots - and so every second inhabitant still speaks Romansh

• In case of special weather conditions, the organizer takes the liberty to run steam trains electrically (Ge 6/6I, Crocodile locomotive)
• Bringing dogs is not recommended due to limited space
• Take-away drinks and snacks are available in the middle of the train
• Steam rides will only take place if there are enough participants. Please check online or call 1600 from 5 days before the date of the trip to find out if it will take place
