Description
This canyoning course starting from Cresciano is aimed at everyone who wants to dive deeper into the sport of canyoning. You'll gain comprehensive basic knowledge and learn how to find and properly interpret important information.
The course combines theoretical content with practical exercises in various gorges. Topics include equipment knowledge, rope techniques, knot tying, belay station setup, rappelling techniques, and releasable systems. Planning tours also covers river science, weather forecasting, topography, geology, and packing lists.
Another key focus is assessing situations within canyons. You'll learn to better identify hazards such as falls, rockfall, and whitewater dangers. After completing the course, you'll be prepared for the suitability test of a canyoning training and able to participate actively on guided tours.
