Description
In this sailing course, young people spend five afternoons in one week on Lake Geneva. They learn the basics of sailing step by step. Together with peers, they discover how to steer a boat, set the sails, and work together as a crew.
Certified sailing instructors guide the group, share their passion for sailing, and focus on safety and clear values like respect, equality, and sustainability. Caring for Lake Geneva is also important, raising awareness among the young participants for nature and the environment.
Through regular meetings, the youths build their confidence within the group and explore a new sport that might become their new passion.
Practical Information
- The meeting point is about a 1-minute walk from Bains des Pâquis.
- Each boat carries 5 teenagers on board (no minimum booking requirement).

5 afternoons of sailing lessons from Monday to Friday, 13:00–16:30 each day, on cabin boats with a maximum of 5 young people per boat

Important information
- The sailing licence can be obtained from the age of 14
- The sailing course takes place from Monday to Friday within one week, from 13:00 to 16:30 each day
- Course languages: French and English
- No prior knowledge required; swimming is not a prerequisite
- In bad weather, the course continues with other sailing-related activities
- Please bring: sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a filled water bottle, a change of clothes and a rain or wind jacket; in summer, also a beach towel and swimwear
- The course runs with a minimum of 4 participants, with a maximum of 5 young people per boat
