What it's about
What remains when half is missing? When is the right time – and when the wrong one? And how long do five minutes actually last… in your mind? Ursus & Nadeschkin think sideways, turn time and roles inside out, and bring a total work of art to the stage that moves somewhere between verbal acrobatics, music, dance and splendid confusion. Funny, surprising and absurdly clever. For more than three decades, the honorary award winners of the Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis 2024 have been touring the world. From Zürich to New York, from Berlin to Melbourne, from the concert hall to the circus, from television to the Schauspielhaus. The two leap between categories, do what no one expects of them, play with timing, explore the depths and shallows between Dada, physical performance and comedy, and provoke with passion and charm. Their 11th stage programme ‘PRSPKTVNWCHSL’ is a highly comic expedition into the unknown – for anyone ready to turn their thinking upside down. WARNING: This piece contains loud music, people who partly contradict each other, doors with no walls around them, sharp knives, people in metal clothes, flying cuddly toys and a trout painted pink and nailed to a wall.
