Joo Kraus, Omar Sosa and Diego Piñera

What it's about

The German jazz trumpeter Joo Kraus is one of Germany’s most prominent jazz trumpeters and moves, across a wide range of projects, stylistically between jazz, soul, funk, pop, Latin and electronics. The Cuban pianist Omar Sosa can without doubt be described as a global star, as he is one of the most versatile artists on the international jazz scene and combines Afro-Cuban roots with global influences to create his own sound language. The drummer Diego Piñera, born in Uruguay, combines rhythmic refinement with improvisational freedom and gives the trio’s sound a distinctive signature. Three strong voices of jazz come together in an energetic sound laboratory: electronic sounds meet acoustic instruments, polyrhythmic structures meet urban beats. «vibe factor» combines groove, improvisation and global influences into an engaging, genre-crossing sound.
