Simon Enzler

What it's about

Simon Enzler is ‘zmetztinne’. Too old to count as a newcomer, too young to be an old-timer, he stands at a decisive point in his life. He turns 50. And because he was already on stage as a tender 15-year-old, he can now look back on three and a half decades as an attentive observer and a sharp-tongued regular at the local pub. How does he see himself, his profession and the world around him? How do you deal with signs of fading youth and growing dioptres? How do you keep your course in the white water of the present? How much future is still in it? Nobody knows. - Enzler rows. And has done for years. But that is exactly what gives him confidence. Because even if a rower has to look back, he still moves forward. www.simonenzler.ch
