What it's about
**All rumours are true** Elvis Presley faked his death and went into hiding in Valais, by mistake, because the destination was actually Wales. Miraculously rejuvenated, the ‘King of Rock 'n' Roll’ lives in Switzerland – hidden and silent, but never forgotten. Now he is back on the boards and has plenty to tell. What was life like after his death? Why does he still look so damn young? Did he find his great love in the mountains? What does he have to do with the fall of the Berlin Wall? And how on earth is Michael Jackson – his son-in-law. The audience gets to know a whole new cosmos around the rock ’n’ roll legend, with plenty of wit and refreshing self-irony. **Evergreens and new horizons** Diego Valsecchi & Band create an evening full of humour, nostalgia, touching moments and good music. If you love Elvis, you will celebrate this evening. If you hardly know him, you will enjoy the wild story and show. The comedy musical «Elvis lebt!» is heading out on a second big tour across Switzerland and comes to Graubünden – with new surprises, even more musical energy and a generous helping of Elvis magic. Guest performance at Theater Chur. **Who is Who** Diego Valsecchi was born and raised in Visp, and has always been an Elvis fan. And a certain natural resemblance to him cannot be denied, which very early on awakens the desire to step into the role that so many see in him. After studying acting in Munich at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule, he first takes up his first permanent engagement at Stadttheater Bern, later working as a freelance actor and singer at city theatres as well as in the cabaret and musical scene. As part of the musical cabaret duo Valsecchi & Nater, he devises five evening-length programmes until he fulfils his dream of creating a very personal Elvis figure, one that does not lack charm or passion.
