**Out of stillness** “Am I dreaming, or am I already living?” Daughters and granddaughters ask questions. Based on personal conversations and stories from their own mothers, grandmothers and other female\* reference figures, a multifaceted dialogue between past and present takes shape on stage. The words, dreams and lived realities of women\* from different generations become movements in “Blum – Wild Things Happen in Stillness” that tell you a great deal about realised and unfulfilled life plans, social boundaries, resilience and self-determination. The truly important, sometimes wild things need time before they can blossom. Everything left unsaid – still waters run deep – becomes embedded in the body and sometimes outlasts generations until it finds its way on to the stage of life. **Choreography of “Blum – Wild Things Happen in Stillness”** The dance ensemble Moving Mountains by Helena Amor, Elina Kim, Harumi Mumenthaler, Alessandra Hitz and Ellen Wolf from Graubünden and Bern combines the organic movement qualities of contemporary dance with the energy and expressiveness of various street dance styles. The dancers each bring their own movement language, creating a many-voiced, physical dialogue that highlights the layered nature of the personal interviews. The movements reflect inner processes such as resistance, transformation and liberation, and become physical manifestations of memories, dreams and emotions.
