Fribourg interactive scavenger hunt with smartphone

On this interactive treasure hunt in Fribourg, you can explore the historic old town using an app on your smartphone while solving exciting and informative puzzles and tasks.

You and your group can spontaneously head out on a puzzle tour since the start time is up to you. All you need is one ticket per person for the interactive game and a smartphone with the corresponding app. The app guides you through an adventure filled with fascinating information about the city, fun tasks, and tricky puzzles.

The treasure hunt lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours and starts at the Joe Siffert Fountain in Fribourg. Along the way, you'll discover many sights in Freiburg, including the Samson Fountain, St. Nicholas Cathedral, and the Bern Bridge. The tour ultimately ends at the cogwheel train station.

• The game can generally be played in the dark, although some inscriptions may be harder to recognize

• Each person can choose which language they want to play the trail in after entering the game code on their phone. So it’s possible to play in a multilingual group without needing separate bookings.

• A school class can have a maximum of 25 people (students and adult chaperones).
• It’s a good idea to split the class into several teams. Ideally, each team should have a maximum of 8 members.
• After booking, you will receive a code for the game. This code can be redeemed by each participant, so a maximum of 25 times. At that point, it should already be clear which students belong to which team.
• One person from the team clicks the button "Create Team" and gives the team a name. Team members then click on "Join Team" and enter the team using the team name.
• The teams should start with a time gap of about 2-3 minutes to prevent them from simply following each other.
• Generally, each person plays on their own smartphone. By answering questions on their phones, participants compete against each other and can see a ranking of all players. This makes it even more fun.
• If not every child in the class has an internet-enabled smartphone, the game can still be played. Those children can join another child on their smartphone. All teams should have the same number of smartphones. Each team needs at least one smartphone.
