Description

Your personal skills and preferences are the basis for the guide. On this basis he will show you where and how you can improve your technique. Together with him you will discover the variety of bike trails around Zermatt. For the 5-hour bike course, an hour lunch break is added.

Requirements/Technical difficulty

Easy:

  • Easily passable, without significant technical difficulties.
  • Well consolidated soil

Medium:

  • Fluidly rideable with technical sections. Roots, water deflectors, stones, tighter curves.
  • Ground mostly well consolidated.
  • Steep up- and downhills.

Challenging:

  • Technically demanding with steps, landings, stairs, serpentines.
  • Exposed areas.
  • Occasional loose ground.

Difficult:

  • Difficult tour with numerous rough sections. + Loose ground in places.
  • Exposed areas, narrow serpentines, narrow and tricky trails.
  • Longer running and pushing passages possible.

Swiss Activities Tip

After the bike course you might want to visit a nice museum. Only 2 minutes walk to the south you will find the Matterhorn Museum - Zermatlantis. Here you can experience the past of the village Zermatt. Besides original houses and inhabitants of the former mountain farming village, you can also relive the first ascent of the Matterhorn.
