Description
At the fire, you’ll learn how to prepare a vegetarian menu featuring Himalayan flavors. Together with other participants, you’ll cook over an open flame. You’ll experience the unique atmosphere of fire cooking and enjoy the meal in nature with good company.
You’ll fold Momos, fill them carefully, and watch as they steam over the fire, releasing their aroma. This cooking course introduces you to a slice of everyday Tibetan-inspired cuisine.
During the cooking process, you’ll take on various tasks by the fire. You’ll exchange ideas with the group and feel how cooking, nature, and simple ingredients create a sense of connection. At the end, you’ll enjoy the meal you’ve cooked together around the fire pit.
Getting to the Meeting Point
The exact meeting point will be shared with you by the provider after booking.
- If you’re arriving by car, there’s parking available at the edge of the forest.
- If you’re coming by public transport, you’ll be picked up at Stammheim station.
From the parking area at the forest’s edge, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the fire site.
Important Information
- The course runs with a minimum of 4 people.
- Bring weather-appropriate clothing for the forest, a full water bottle, and (if you have one) a pocket knife for small cutting tasks during cooking.
