You learn the basics of rock climbing on well-protected routes in a climbing park in the Chur Rhine Valley. At the start, you do a quick gear and partner check and discuss the course goals with the instructor.
Afterwards, you practise important outdoor skills like climbing techniques on easy terrain, proper belaying, and neat rope handling. You set up top rope and belay stations, include short rope manoeuvres, and train abseiling and redirecting directly on the route.
Clear communication on the rope and structured practice help you feel confident with every movement on the rock. Step by step, you'll build trust in your gear, climbing technique, and independent climbing outdoors.
