"Frÿburg 1606" Virtual city tour in Fribourg

Pick up your tablet and headset at the meeting point. From there, you embark on a journey through space and time.

Over the next few hours, your virtual guide, Philippe, will lead you through 17th century Fribourg. With a mixture of audio, video and augmented reality, you walk through the cozy streets of the city. Along the way, you will see buildings that have long since disappeared and meet people in their everyday lives.

The tour takes around 3 hours in total. After the exciting tour, you return the tablet and headset to the meeting point.

Practical information:

• Duration: 3 hours, but half a day is recommended
• Max. 2 people per tablet
• Not fully accessible for people with reduced mobility
• Visitor is liable for any damage to the tablet

• Sunday 9:30 am to 1:30 pm

• Identity card must be deposited as a guarantee
• Tour is only possible during the opening hours of Fribourg Tourisme
