Description
Canyoning is carried out in a group. It is aimed at families as well as children and teenagers. All canyoning activities are carried out under the guidance of a certified canyoning guide.
After meeting at the parking lot you take your equipment and change your clothes. Together you will walk for about 10 minutes to the entrance of the Ira gorge. Here you can swim, slide, jump and rappel through the cool water. All activities are optional. At the end of the canyoning tour a Happy Landing Apéro awaits all participants.
Practical Information:
- Bring along: Depending on the weather, additional synthetic sports underwear for better heat insulation (no cotton), sports tape for your glasses if necessary
Swiss Activities Tip
The small town of Vira is located on the shore of the northeastern Lake Maggiore. Along the shore you can stroll wonderfully and stop in restaurants. Worth seeing are the church of Santi Pietro e Paolo and an oratory with beautiful paintings. On the mule track to Fosano you will find a very old and interesting stone bridge that crosses the river over high rocks.
