- Slide over rocks and jump into pools of water
Description
You will get to know the more playful part of the Hongrin Gorge. It is also ideal for canyoning beginners. You can slide, jump and abseil 5 m down a waterfall in the gorge if you wish.
Swiss Activities Tip
After your canyoning adventure, we recommend a visit to the charming village of Château-d'Oex. It is known for hosting the international balloon festival every year. A visit to the Balloon Room Museum will show you the history of hot-air ballooning. It is located in the village center, in the former town hall. The Breitling Orbiter gondola, which was used in the first attempt to fly around the world, is also on display here.
Directions to the meeting point
La Lécherette is a small village located between the Col des Mosses and Château d'Oex. Take the road west towards Hongrin and follow the Corbeyrier sign (the road does not go up).
After 400 m, do not take the first turning on the right, but continue for another 300 m in the direction of Corbeyrier and then turn right (2 buildings and a large military parking lot). 50 m further on you can park on the large paved square.
