Description
There is always a risk of avalanches in the mountains in winter. It varies constantly with changing snow and weather conditions. The theory part of this basic course is initially aimed at recognizing the risks when skiing off-piste.
Building on this, you will learn the basics of avalanche prevention. To do this, you will go to a nearby ski area. Together with your coach, you will examine the snow cover and learn how to use the avalanche transceiver (avalanche transceiver). You practise searching for avalanche victims.
