Description
You begin your trip into the Vallon de la Tièche by getting to know the yaks calmly at first. Together with experienced herders, you trek along old irrigation channels and waterfalls with the group. As you go, you sense the steady pace of these sturdy, calm animals and adjust to their natural rhythm.
Along the way, you learn more about the origins of the yaks and their importance to traditional mountain cultures. You take the time to consciously absorb the landscape and the unique atmosphere of this remote valley. At the end, you’ll look back on an intense nature experience with extraordinary animal companions for your hike.
