Hike along the Chur ridge trail with a 3-course meal at three different restaurants

You start the tour independently at 10:45 AM at the Chur train station. For the shortened version with bus number 4, begin at the Waldhaus stop about an hour later.

On this gourmet hike, you get to taste a starter, main course, and dessert at three different restaurants along the route.

The High Trail is known for fantastic views of the city and surrounding nature. The path first takes you into the Fürstenwald forest. You walk along the edge of the forest and enjoy wonderful views.

The Waldenhüttli is famous as the best viewpoint in Chur. From here, you get the best view of Chur and its surroundings. A little further on, the trail leads you past the cathedral and the Episcopal Palace.

On the way back, you pass through Chur's old town and return to the starting point.

The hiking trail takes you past the Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary. Located within the Bishop’s Court, it is 800 years old. The cathedral is one of Switzerland’s most important cultural monuments, especially notable for its late Gothic high altar, which shines in golden splendor.
