Description

In this watchmaking course, you get the chance to assemble your own watch. First, you’ll be introduced to the art of watchmaking. After that, you can choose from a variety of watch parts (movement, dial, hands, case, watch strap).

A lunch for all workshop participants, including the master watchmaker, takes place in a renowned restaurant.

Afterward, you’ll assemble your watch. The master watchmaker will support you in this. The completion is celebrated with a glass of white wine. You take the finished watch home with you.

You can choose between:

  • Manual winding watch
  • Automatic watch

Watch with manual winding

A mechanical watch with manual winding needs to be wound manually once a day. This is done by turning the crown clockwise.

  • ETA 6497 manual movement, made in Switzerland
  • 42 hours power reserve
  • Functions: hour, minute, and small second (at 9:00)
  • Diameter of the steel cases from 42 mm to 48 mm
  • Strap width 22 mm
  • Upper sapphire glass and transparent mineral glass case back

Automatic watch

The automatic mechanical watch winds itself up when you wear it. You generate energy through the movement of your wrist. The Initium automatic watch has a power reserve of 38 hours and stops after that time if it’s not worn. After that, you can wind it manually using the crown.
