Description
This private hike takes you from Brienz up to the Brienzer Rothorn. The trail starts by winding through the village before steadily climbing through forest paths and open sections. As you gain altitude, you’ll get stunning views of Lake Brienz, Interlaken, and the surrounding mountains.
Higher up, the landscape changes dramatically. The forest gives way to open alpine terrain with meadows, gravel trails, and wide panoramic views. At the summit, 2,350 meters above sea level, you can enjoy breathtaking sights over Lake Brienz, Lake Thun, the Augstmatthorn ridge, and the Alps in the region.
This hike is privately guided and flexible in its itinerary. The pace and route are adapted to your fitness and the conditions. For the descent, you can choose between walking back the same way, taking the historic cogwheel railway, or a route on the north side towards Sörenberg with a gondola lift.
