This guided day hike takes you from Lucerne into the Engelberg Valley. After the ride to Engelberg, you'll start in the mountain village at the heart of the Swiss Alps. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of the Titlis Glacier, snow-capped peaks, and alpine scenery.
The route leads through lush meadows, past waterfalls, streams, and grazing Swiss cows. Your guide will tailor the trail to your preferences and fitness level. During the hike, you’ll learn about the region’s history as well as its flora and fauna.
The day’s programme also includes rides on mountain railways and a visit to the 12th-century Benedictine monastery. For lunch, there’s a stop at an authentic mountain restaurant.
