Kreislauf - Lea Vetter and Hansruedi Steiner
Σχετικά με αυτόν τον χώρο
In the exhibition «Kreislauf», two artists meet around order, sequence and circulation. Lea Vetter (*1995, Bern) mainly works with wax. With this malleable material, she creates surprising objects – for example washbasins in which water flows – that impress through their lightness and craft precision. Hansruedi Steiner (*1952, Aarau) works with various types of wood and combines them with different materials such as paper, stone or rubber. By drilling, carving and milling boxwood and plane, lime or maple, he creates filigree constructions that make fine lines visible and open up the material’s inner space. In the dialogue between Vetter’s soft, pale wax and Steiner’s solid, coloured wood, tension-filled contrasts emerge that make the exhibition’s idea of circulation visible.
