Concert with the Walder Gitarrenensemble

This year’s concert programme features various dances such as the minuet, waltz, ballet, milonga and swing. These are framed by atmospheric, lyrical guitar pieces from different musical eras. Works by J.S. Bach, G.F. Händel, L. Boccherini, W.A. Mozart, F. Schubert, J. Brahms, as well as original compositions by Martin Brenner. Jürg Blum, Barbara Odermatt, Marcel Plutschow and Barbara Rellstab perform under the direction of Martin Brenner. The professional musician and music teacher Martin Brenner, who lives in Wald, founded the ensemble in 2019 with his adult, advanced students.
