The Dorfchilbi Linthal takes place every second Sunday in September and on the days before it on the old schoolhouse square in Linthal. From Friday evening to Sunday evening, there is once again a colourful bustle of showmen, clubs, groups, market traders and visitors. Food and music Friday: festival and bar service from 17:00 Ländler music from 20:00 Saturday: lively Ländler music from 14:00 The musical highlights on Saturday are performances by the popular Tümpelgumper - at 20:15 - and DJ Extrafahrt of the funicular: from Friday to Saturday and from Saturday to Sunday at 02:00. Attractions: the chilbi activities with attractions for young and old start on Saturday at 14:00 and Sunday at 12:00. In addition to go-karting, digger rides, the bungee trampoline and the high striker, children can enjoy pony rides, tin can throwing, face painting on Sunday, the bouncy castle and the merry-go-round. It has long been known that the queue for the go-karts is shortest on Friday evening: from 18:00, the first go-kart fans can do their laps. Air rifle shooting, bullriding and, new this year, the Hang Challenge are also ready on Friday evening! Culinary treats include chili con carne on Friday, suckling pig on Saturday, steak on Sunday, chips, sausages and the famous risotto from Männerturnverein Linthal on Saturday and Sunday - the food offering is once again varied.
