Musical reading in honour of Rainer Maria Rilke

To mark the 100th anniversary of Rilke’s death, the Kirchenkreis sechs invites you to a special reading that brings together words, music and spirituality. Actor Stefan Gubser reads selected poems and texts by the poet and brings his poetic language vividly to life. The reading is accompanied by Spiritual & Liturgical Jazz: Christian Gutfleisch (piano), Gianni Narduzzi (bass) and Sebastian Zebe (saxophone) create an atmospheric soundscape between spirituality and improvisation. The result is a multi-layered evening exploring themes such as searching, transience and inner change. A shared song – «Ich lebe mein Leben in wachsenden Ringen» by Susanna Maeder – brings the audience and performers together. The event ends with an apéro and offers an opportunity to chat.
