Camera Arts goes Bourbaki: The panorama from new angles 14 students on the BA Camera Arts programme at HSLU rediscovered the Bourbaki Panorama – with different cameras, coloured light and plenty of curiosity. They explored the panorama from unfamiliar viewpoints, worked in front of and behind the scenes, experimented with projections and also involved passers-by in their work. The images taken with an analogue large-format camera offer a special visual experience, in which the painting blends seamlessly into three-dimensional space. These works recall early photographs from the period of internment and build a bridge between historical image practice and the contemporary present. The artistic-documentary works invite you to sharpen your own gaze and experience the European Cultural Monument anew.
