Sculptures by Ueli Binggeli Ueli Binggeli, originally from Schwarzenburg, has made a name for himself over the years as a set designer and lighting designer. For some time now, he has also been living out his creativity in the visual arts, having created smaller and larger sculptures of archaic simplicity. Ueli Binggeli’s preferred materials are wood, some of it from the Gantrisch region, as well as concrete cast into shapes. The artist is fascinated by their texture, also because working and making them require perseverance and discipline. The abstract sculptures, some left in their natural state, some designed with refined colour gradients, are based on themes such as movement, independence and life.
