Hidden in the attic of the Singisen wing, the Murikultur art collection is stored. Five contemporary artists were invited to engage with selected works from the collection and develop new pieces from them. The exhibition focuses on questions about the nature and potential of a collection: how does it come about? What stories does it preserve? And how can it serve as a starting point for new artistic perspectives? The exhibition makes selected works from the collection accessible and puts them in dialogue with contemporary positions. As an echo chamber between past and present, new resonances, unfamiliar viewpoints and unexpected connections emerge.
