Black-Necked Goats Parade Through Zermatt For six weeks every summer, a herd of around 50 Black-Necked Goats makes its way through Bahnhofstrasse each morning and evening. Hundreds of visitors line the street to admire and photograph the distinctive black-and-white goats and their kids. Be sure to capture your own picture of what may well be the most photographed goats in the world. Morning: approximately between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Evening: approximately between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. As our goats have their very own personalities—and therefore their own sense of timing—these times should be considered rough guidelines only. Thank you for your understanding if the herd sets off a little earlier or later than expected. During major events in the village, the herd is guided along the Vispa River via Bachstrasse.
