Sobre este lugar
Moon wood for furniture is cut in winter, during the waning moon, according to age-old knowledge – while trees are dormant, only half the sap remains in the trunk, and the moon’s influence also reduces the water content. As a result, it dries faster, is more durable and is less susceptible to pests. Chemical wood preservatives are unnecessary, because its natural properties make the wood last for generations. Through guided tours, Dittlig Schreinerei lets you learn more about the fascinating topic of moon wood. In a personal conversation, the special properties of moon wood and its many possible uses are shown. It is also explained how the natural building material wood can be processed with as few foreign substances as possible. After the tour, Dittlig Schreinerei invites you to enjoy small snacks and drinks – a chance to clarify any open questions and continue exchanging ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. | Parkplätze For those arriving by car, parking spaces are available at the joinery.
