Opened in June 2000 to mark the 125th anniversary of Thomas Mann (1875–1955), the exhibition brings to life those forty years that the Mann family spent at Alte Landstrasse 39 in Kilchberg. From the poet’s move there in 1954 to his son Golo’s death in 1994, the main milestones are traced. Photographs and original portraits, selected documents and a few keepsakes give you an insight into the life and work of this exceptional family.
