Sobre este lugar
750 years ago, in 1275, King Rudolf I of Habsburg confirmed Laupen’s town rights. And in 1324, Bern bought Laupen Castle, the little town and the lordship of Laupen, making it the first Bernese bailiwick. In 2025, Laupen commemorates these two historical milestones. The LAUPENER ZEITREISE through the old town becomes a walk into the Middle Ages for you. At nine stops, short, entertaining scenes tell the story of Laupen in the 13th and 14th centuries. You are in for a treat. You meet Countess Anna von Sternenberg and even King Rudolf I of Habsburg. In addition, the innkeeper explains how to make money, and in the knights’ hall at the castle you experience how the Bernese bailiff buys the place with its great strategic importance. And you are there live!
