The Santa Petronilla Waterfall at a glance The Santa Petronilla Waterfall is considered the highest waterfall in Ticino. The mountain stream Ri della Froda rises on the Alpe di Lago and plunges down the rock face above Biasca. Its two streams of water, which cross as they fall, are a defining feature. Below the stone bridge, you’ll find several natural pools.
