About this place
The Sust Museum Horgen is in a medieval customs station in a beautiful spot right on Lake Zurich. After a full refurbishment in 2020/2021, the museum is open to the public again and can be booked for events. The first part of the new permanent exhibition presents the long and eventful history of the Sust; further areas on the main themes of the silk industry, trade and transport, as well as archaeology, are planned. Changing temporary exhibitions on current topics make the museum a worthwhile trip out.
