Weingut Landolt
About this place
Weingut Landolt was founded in 1834 and has remained in family ownership to this day. Today, the Landolt family is the city’s largest winegrower and cultivates almost 6 hectares of Zürich vines. This includes the vineyard by the FIFA headquarters building or the vineyard in the Enge district, in the middle of which the well-known Zurich author Gottfried Keller lived and wrote his «Grüner Heinrich». On these and other vineyards in the Zürcher Weinland, Landolt produces ten different grape varieties, from which 30 fine Landolt wines are pressed. In addition to its own wines, Landolt also trades in top-quality wines across all price ranges, which you can discover in the Landolt vinotheque. Tastings are chargeable and only possible with prior registration.
