Significant collection of art and craft from Antiquity from the Mediterranean and the Near East. The Archaeological Collection of the University of Zurich is a large and internationally significant collection of original ancient works of art and craft from the Mediterranean and the Near East. Switzerland’s oldest archaeological museum (1854), with its historical casts of ancient statues, also gives you a comprehensive overview of Greco-Roman sculpture. Special exhibitions also give you insights into the latest archaeological research.
