About this place

The cloister of All Saints dates from the 12th and 13th centuries and combines Romanesque and Gothic architectural elements. It encloses the idyllic cloister garden, the so-called «Junkerfriedhof». Between 1582 and 1874, notable figures from Schaffhausen, such as mayors, councillors, pastors and other deserving citizens, were buried here. Today, the cloister is an impressive place of peace, history and architecture.
