About this place

Log-wall paintings in private houses from the 15th century have survived only in small numbers. Mostly, people know religious wall paintings in monasteries and chapels. The civic log-wall painting of national significance in Sidwald is unique. All the walls and the ceiling are painted. You can see a couple, a mercenary and a woman. A hunter with Büchel, Sauspiess and a dog team, and a large mounted dragon.
