Green from meadows and forest, and grey from rocks and stone houses, are the defining colours. The sound of the Brenno, which has carved a gorge between Motto and Semione through the heaps of debris from a landslide, provides the background noise. While Brenno Gorge is easy to walk through, at the Orino Gorge, which flows into the Blenio Valley at Malvaglia, you have to make do with the view down into the depths from the elegant stone arch bridge «Ponte Lau ». Getting there: By public transport or car from Bellinzona via Biasca to Aquarossa/Olivone.
