What requirements do I need for freeride?

Yes, freeriders should definitely carry avalanche safety equipment for their own safety
This includes:
- avalanche transceiver LVS with beeper (transmit and search)
- avalanche probe
- avalanche shovel
- avalanche backpack with airbag system if necessary
How high is the avalanche danger in freeride?
There is an increased risk of triggering an avalanche when freeride skiing and snowboarding. Therefore, the snow and avalanche situation is checked daily in the affected mountain areas. This is done in close cooperation with the weather stations. However, this does not mean absolute safety.
