Steckborn

Steckborn is a historic small town in the canton of Thurgau, situated right on the Untersee section of Lake Constance. The town was first mentioned in the 9th century and was granted city rights in 1313. Steckborn is known for its medieval old town, the Turmhof landmark, and its beautiful setting. Between the lakeshore and the wooded ridge, there are plenty of hiking and excursion opportunities.

“It was a fabulous day starting with a boat trip up the lake to Vitznau, then stepping onto the train up to Rigi Kaltbad. The mineral baths were totally relaxing, from the bubble pools to the stunning outdoor views, plus the herbal steam room, mineral pool tranquility and sauna. A truly sensational day.”
