“awesome game and beautiful Old Town walk”
“An exciting outdoor escape game that was really fun. The puzzles were varied and well-designed—challenging but not too hard. Thanks to GPS support, navigation was easy, allowing you to fully focus on the game. At the same time, you discover the beautiful old town of Schaffhausen in a unique way. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys escape games and city explorations.”
“We know Fribourg a bit, but between the Sarine river, the old town, and the mountains, it was great weather-wise.”
“I was able to see the city in a different way.”
“Discovering the city through these questions.”
“Great game for kids to combine a nice walk and fun on a beautiful day.”
Without exception, these are team games. They bring you fun and also strengthen the community. In the "GPS game" you can play with up to five other people in a standard game. However, multi-team games with up to a total of 72 players are also possible. It is similar with the game "The Magic Portal". Your puzzle team consists of 2-6 people. Playing in multiple teams is possible with two to six teams.
You and your team usually get an iPad. Everything you need for the game is on it. For certain games, an app on the smartphone (free) is necessary. If you need more things for the game, you get them from the provider.
Escape rooms are team games, so they cannot be played alone. Normally, two to six people are allowed to play each game. Four people are recommended. If you are a larger group, it is recommended to split the group and book two separate Escape Rooms. Or you can play a duel, where two groups compete against each other. Some organizers offer this option.
Almost all Escape Rooms are prepared for birthdays, corporate events, incentives and bachelor parties. Special attention is paid to the team building field. After all, the puzzles can only be solved through close communication and cooperation
Plan on at least 90 minutes for a visit. The game itself usually lasts 60 minutes. The actual stay extends over 1.5 hours
Usually, you don't need an app for an Escape Room. However, if this is the case, you and your team will receive an iPad. On it is everything you need for the game. For certain games an app on the smartphone (free of charge) is necessary. If you need more things for the game, you will get them from the provider.
The visit for children under 6 years is not recommended. In addition, most of the puzzles of the level of difficulty are designed for adults. However, there are special offers for children from 8 years among the numerous providers
If you get stuck or miss an important clue, you will get help. The entire game is accompanied by a game master via a camera
During a duel, two teams of 2 to 6 people each compete against each other, play in parallel and then switch. At the end, a total time is determined, from which a winner emerges.
Employees of the organizer observe the game from the outside. As soon as problems of any kind arise, they open the room. So you can stop the game at any time if a team member is not feeling well
