Winds and Voices – When orchestral sound meets gospel groove!

About this place

Wind & Voices – Two Groups. Two Musical Worlds. One Joint Concert Evening. Following last year’s successful premiere, the gospel choir The Moor Train Fellows and the Bern-Bümpliz Music Society invite you once again to a joint concert evening at the German Church in Murten on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Wind & Voices brings two musical worlds together in one evening: the sound of a wind orchestra and the voices of a gospel choir. Both ensembles will present their own repertoires—differing in style and expression, yet united by their joy in music and the special atmosphere of this concert evening. It is precisely this contrast that makes the program so appealing: at times, the powerful brass sounds of the Musikgesellschaft Bern-Bümpliz take center stage; at other times, the rousing songs of the Moor Train Fellows. Two distinct concerts—united in a single evening. Note: This text was translated by machine translation software and not by a human translator. It may contain translation errors.
