Engelberger Dialoge 2026 (22. + 23.10.2026)

About this place

Engelberger Dialoge 2026 takes place on Thursday 22.10.2026 and Friday 23.10.2026 on the theme ‘Network: an under- or overestimated necessity?’. Networks make the efficient exchange of information possible and are a key foundation of modern societies, especially in technology, research and global infrastructures such as the internet. They offer major opportunities, but also bring risks such as social inequalities or misuse, and therefore require responsibility and trust. At the «Engelberger Dialoge 2026», experts shed light on different types of networks and their benefits and challenges in various fields. You can look forward to exciting talks and a lively panel discussion. You will find the detailed programme and the registration form at: www.academia-engelberg.ch Everyone is warmly welcome at our conference. Participation is free of charge. The registration deadline runs until Monday, 12.10.2026. We look forward to your coming. Who are we: The Academia Engelberg foundation recognises the growing need for a better understanding of complex topics, their relationships with society and the economy, and their impact. Our foundation organises annual conferences, each devoted to a specific scientific topic. In this way, we want to start a dialogue between disciplines. Participants are also given the opportunity to exchange ideas with the speakers.
